Facebook Collection
I’ve chosen the Instant Storefront format layout for the Facebook Collection ad simply because the objective was to capture more prospective audience and also to push the Black Friday 15% sale. I have dissected the messaging of ‘Don’t shop stupid’ into four stills. This is played as a video with each stills lasting three seconds on the feature section above the collection of products. The usage of the FRAKTA shopping bag and with bold typography were used to deliver the message. The subtle use of Ikea colours is implemented in delivering a tongue-in-cheek messaging.

I’ve also replaced the ‘Shop Now’ for still no.2 with ‘Learn Now’ so as not misinterpreting that HipVan is selling the FRAKTA shopping bag.

Due to it’s odd size, I’ve removed certain elements that were secondary but kept the primary messages behind the campaign and sale while keeping the tongue-in-cheek colour usage to deliver the message.
